Aims to enhance genetic diversity in AD research by engaging underrepresented African populations, with participation from research centers across multiple African countries. This project seeks to expand understanding of AD’s genetic causes to develop effective treatments.

ORIGINs Project

Focuses on the genetic origins of AD among African Americans and indigenous Africans, aiming to address the diversity gap in AD genetic research. This study, in partnership with institutions in the USA, Nigeria, and Ghana, aspires to uncover genetic insights that could benefit global dementia research.

This project aims to provide new insights into how our minds and bodies have been affected by the pandemic, focusing on brain activity, genetic factors, and cognitive health.

African Fingers Project

The AFRICA-FINGERS program is a groundbreaking initiative within the World-Wide FINGERS network that aims to reduce dementia risk in Africa.
